He also dogged Craig Fitzgerald when we hired him. I think Miller wanted Pat Moorer to get the job and/or another friend of his. Very similar to the recent hire where he wanted his buddy Rumph to get the job.


Miller has a TON of skeletons in his closet. He was trashed on TBS several years ago for it and I tried to stand up for him. I regret that now the way he trashes THE USC on a consistent basis on the radio. The worst part, which should be embarrassing to him but evidently is not, is that he is so often wrong when he trashes Carolina. He was wrong about Alshon, wrong about Fitz, and is likely wrong about Deke as well.

I agree with everyone else. Having his son here would be a nightmare. Nothing against Christian because he may be a great kid and great player.

Both Dad and Son are sold on Rumph and Alabama. Will be interesting to see if Bama takes his commit if he tries to commit to them.

Does he know his buddy Rumph only expressed interest in the job to get a raise? (rhetorical question) He had no interest in leaving Bama for Carolina right now.

It is sad that Carolina and maybe Clemson as well, might not recruit his son very heavily because they don't want to deal with the drama he would cause if Christian chose to stay in state.

Recruiters from Clemson and Georgia Tech were by Spring Valley High School Monday to check on junior LB Christian Miller. Miller will visit Clemson Saturday for the Tigers' Elite Junior Day. This past Saturday he was at Alabama for a junior day. It was his second visit to Tuscaloosa and he met with Nick Saban for a second time, this time for about 15 minutes. Some of Miller's other offers are USC, North Carolina, NC State, Houston, Duke and Boise State.

Interesting that you say that. Now that i think about it, we really haven't had great luck with the locals have we?

Besides Paulk and Demario Jeffery i cant think of a local that has contributed significantly in a long while.
