Deer problem...

Have any of you had deer hanging around your house lately or in your neighborhood? I have 3 that are constantly coming around my house, in the backyard. Two little ones and the mom. My cocker spaniel just loves it, lol.

Are you feeding them? Got a bird feeder, etc?

And my parents always have deer in their backyard. I think it's cool to watch them.

Not feeding them at all...bird feeders are where they can't get to them.

I don't mind them around at all...they are fun to watch. My cocker spaniel rubbed noses with one of the little fawns through the fence. lol

Well there's supposed to be a higher deer population this year (for reasons I'm not read up on. I would assume it would be partly a result of a minimal harvest). So it's not too surprising, I suppose. Just make sure you don't run into any with the car

I live on 8 acres and see deer almost daily. They are fun and my dogs love to chase them. The rabbits are more of a nuisance than the deer. Also have a lot of hunters around so the deer may use my acreage as a safe zone!

There are a few at my parents house, mom has a garden and they come and pick at it during the night. that's about it. My neighbor caught a 6 pt buck on one of his camera a while back. Thing had good size to it.

I knowwwww....someone did that the other morning...there was a dead deer down the road BUT it wasn't the ones that have been hanging around my house...there is so much population around my house, the deer have ran out of places to go to...feel sorry for them...

I have a friend that owns a body shop. He went into work one morning after deer hunting and still had his camo on.

A woman was there to get an estimate after hitting a deer. She told him, "I wish you would kill them all". Out of frustration.

He told her, "No Mam, I shoot behind them and make them run out in to the road.......Then I can eat steak".
