Women's attendance is picking up

I noticed the attendance for the women's game today was 10,101. As we keep winning I think these 5 digit attendance figures are going to be commonplace for them in future years.

It helps also that it was a dbl-header with men's BB too.....the spectators for the men's game could stay for the women's game for free. The next highest attendance for a Lady Gamecocks game was against #1 Stanford (8,118) on Dec. 19th, and it was also on a dbl-header day where the men's team hosted App. State. Of course playing the #1 team in the nation helped a lot too, I'm sure. But our 3rd-highest attendance for a home game was versus Clemson (also obvious), and it was only 4,893.....

The double headers definitely help, but I think there may have been more people at the women's game today than for the men's.

Unfortunately the last two home games are on a Sunday when baseball is playing . I'm going to try and attend both .
