Ingram. Dude came in, played multiple positions his first few years and worked extremely hard to become an elite DE and a proud representative of this university.

While I liked Garcia, he never came close to maximizing his full potential.

Not a hard call...one played out his eligibility at USC and graduated as a consensus first team all american while the other was kicked off the team.

Both gave it all on the field, but only Melvin gave it all off the field.

Yeah, for Garcia to win you would have had to put him vs. Derek Watson or Demetrious Summers. I hate that the kid is demonized by fans so much. He did a lot for the school and helped take the team to places it had never been. Its just too bad he never realized his potential.

I agree somewhat...But I think Garcia's off the field issues, limited his play and potential on the field! It's a shame the bad seemed to outweigh the good. Beating Alabama handily was no small feat. Neither was going down to the swamp and man-handling the Gators to win the SEC East(although Marcus handled most of that for us)! I still think Garcia was one of our most talented Qb's ever. But Ingram was a great player as well as a great embassador for the university.

Surprised Garcia doesn't have more votes. I voted for Melvin because he came in as a 2 star MLB and worked his ass off to become an NFL d lineman. Garcia had some off the field issues, but dude gave it his all when he was on the field.

I feel like Stephen just could never get it together for a whole season but he played some games better than anybody could have expected, unfortunately he also had some games with horrible decision making. His off the field issues alone are enough for him to lose my vote in this one, Melvin was a beast for us and always showed up in big games (eg uga and Clem)

I wanted to vote for Garcia, given his impact on the team. But then I feel like we'd just lose to Kentucky the next week. MI6. Wow, just realized that. MI6.

I'm not sure that Garcia really gave it his all on the field every time in part because of his off the field issues. The bowl games and his final few games were enough for this to not even be a question of who to vote for.

Garcia will be remembered by "what could have been."

As others have stated, Garcia pulled of remarkable feats here. He played nearly perfect in arguably, the biggest game ever for this University. He showed up against the Gators and took care of business down there and he didn't lose to Clemson being a starter.

FYI, Garcia was kicked off in his 5th year AND he did graduate from Carolina with a degree in Sociology.

The question is, Who is your favorite?" So I have to say Garcia, but I really, really admire, respect and appreciate Melvin. Melvin was amazing and will prosper in the NFL. I wish them both all the best!

Garcia did some great stuff on the field, but its impossible to forget all the trouble he brought with him, so I have to say Ingram.

Are some of you kidding me? Garcia could never give it all on the the field, because of the things he did off the field. He was a disgrace to all our other great players. The best thing he did for this football team was to finally get kicked off.
