Georgia has 10 new defensive starters, plus we play them during the stretch spurrier so eloquently described as "when they usually have 2 or 3 key guys suspended", which helps us.

pretty accurate to what i thought. wouldn't surprise me if uga won 10 games again though, but they have a tough schedule with clem, us and lsu in the first month of the season. I said that ole miss would finish 3rd in the west and be a "surprise" team next year. I mean with all the talent they got & all the talent lsu lost along with a terrible offense, and the fact that they almost won this past year, I say ole mis finishes 9-3 with losses to bama, tamu and uga. but they could also go 10-2 and beat uga. gonna be an interesting season next year

^this guy. yes we have holes to fill but what games can you look at and say we will for sure lose? ZERO. last year we knew we would drop at least one of uga, lsu, florida in a row. it happened we lost 2. This year our toughest games are:
@ UGA: early in the season, completely new D for them, they just played a tough game vs clemson, and we have beaten them 3 in a row.
Florida: last year they whipped us but we are pretty darn good at home. Florida still has very inconsistent offense. Toss up at worst.
3 in a row on the road: arky, ut, mizzou. we will be favored in all 3. possible slip up? yes but at this point you can't look at one game and say we will lose it.
Clemson: it's home. we own them right now. we still have clowney, they still have boyd. all signs point to us.
I'm interested to see how with this schedule and team we wouldn't be in the race for the east
9-3 at worst. *10-2 possible *11-1 likely. *12-0 not unreasonable. *= in the running, or wins the east

It is never too early to get into predictions for next season. SEC East

1.) South Carolina (11-1) (7-1) This year I don't have one game pinpointed on your schedule that I think you will lose. I honestly go through it and see 12-0, but I think that is just too hard to do in the SEC unless you are just a truly dominant team. While I do like what SC returns I don't think you are to that level yet. So I think you slip up and lose one of the three road games in a row in the middle of the season. But honestly your hardest game is probably Florida at home which I think you win.
2.) Florida (10-2) (6-2) I flirted with the Gators going 11-1 with only one loss at SC. But I think going to LSU with the UF offense will result in an L. Florida is going to have some growing pains on D but they have elite talent and Muschamp is a great D coach...I don't think they have any trouble having another big season.
3.) UGA (8-4) (5-3) Call me crazy, but I just think UGA is going to fall off a bit. I know they have great returning talent on offense, but I just have been feeling a UGA collapse coming the past couple years and I think this is it. I think Clemson puts everything into that opening game and catches a young UGA D sleeping and out scores GA. Then I think you all go into Athens and win a very close one. I see UF getting by GA again and UGA losing to either LSU or @TN to give them 4 losses.
4.) Tennessee (7-5) (4-4) Ok, ok get your laughter overwith now. This is a pretty optimistic pick for my Vols. I could see us going 5-7 again, but here are my reasons for some optimisim. 1, Dooley isn't the coach. 2, we will have one of the best, if not the best Olines in the country. 3. Our entire defense returns and it can only improve right? 4.) We have a bunch of experienced talent on the roster (25ish Sr's!) just waiting to be coached up and I believe in Butch Jones record of winning and that he will get our guys to overachieve a bit. I see us losing @Oregon, @UF, and Bama. Pulling one upset over you all or Georgia at home but then losing one of Vandy, Aub or @Missouri with that loss being most likely Auburn.
5.) Vandy (7-5) (3-5) Frankling does it again. I hate him, but you can not argue that he is a great coach now. I think Vandy wins the big opener against Ole Miss but loses all the big games again V UF, UGA, SC and A&M. The TN game at the end of the season is for 4th place in the East and I think we get revenge at home and pull of the W.
6.) Missouri (5-7) (1-7) Missouri is just not ready for the SEC. They recruited horribly and I think they are going to be a big time bottom dweller in the East for a while. Thank god because TN needs someone we can beat right now. I think they sweet their OOC games and beat Kentucky, but that is it. Their coach is fired at the end of the season.
7.) Kentucky (4-8) (0-8) I believe Mark Stoops will be a solid coach for KY. I think he gets his coaching era off to a bang with an upset win over Louisville at home in week 3...then he comes back to earth in SEC play.

Sticking with the east I think that is a pretty fair assessment. I don't see Tenn finishing with a losing record again so 7-5 or 6-6 will depend on the Vandy game. Oregon is a loss but there's no reason to lose the other 3 out of conference games. I think while Bama is a definate loss Auburn at home should be a win. In the east I see Florida, Georgia, and USC all losses but Kentucky and Mizzou definate wins leaving Vandy as the game to get you 7 wins.

I agree that even with Murray comming back Georgia finally has a tough schedule for the first time in 3 years. While I don't think Clemson can beat them I see them losing to Florida, USC, and LSU with a possible Tenn upset.

For USC I think the Georgia game on the road will be tough but Clowney will once again give Aaron Murray nightmares for weeks and even though they will be looking for payback from last season's ass woopin' we will once again run it down there throats and come out with a close win. I believe this is the game that could be the difference in going 11-1 or 12-0. We finally have a schedule without a totally brutal October and a bye week before the Florida game. This year is set up for a SEC title more than any other.

Going to be awful damn hard for Clemson to "run us ragged" when their offense will be standing on the sideline the majority of the game watch Marshall and Gurley taking 6-8yard chunks of yardage vs their defense.

Marshall is a homerun hitter 2 yards 2 yards then 60 yards he needs to be in space something they really didn't do until the bowl when you saw them both on the field at the same time. I hope Bobo used him more like that but no he isn't a 25 carry every down back.

Agreed. Gurley will gash clemson and Richt/Bobo are probably smarter than Miles and will keep feeding him. Marshall was good for a frosh but Gurley is a primo SEC back.

I see Georgia going 10-2 loosing to us and Clemson. Clemson has a descent run defense last year and Georgia cannot rely primarily on Murry to win. I see Georgia beating LSU because of their losses to the NFL and Florida because they have a terrible offense.

If I had to predict one loss for us this year, it would be against UGA. No matter what we've done in the past...who can say they've beaten UGA four years in a row? UF?

Edit: Auburn has beaten UGA 6 times in a row.

We are going to have a great Oline and solid run game I suspect...could that help us against your new LB's and more pass rush heavy Dline?

I don't think we will win, but I see us being a bit of a trap game for you all.
