Just thought I would bump this thread since 247 has us in his top 6 along with Alabama, FSU, Michigan, Ohio St, and VT. Since he is a 5 star prospect I figured people may want to talk about him a bit more with that being the case.

The 6-foot-7, 300-pound Prince is dominant as both a pass blocker and run blocker and had close to 50 pancake blocks this season for his high school team. He was an All-Met selection by the Washington Post and his scholarship offer count reached double digits long ago.

This is a big boy who is more than capable of getting things done in the trenches. Size is no issue with Prince, as he is a tall kid with good bulk, and with some time in a college weight program and a little reworking of his big and long frame, he could still pack on good size. With his size and good raw strength, he can be a people mover in the run game. Flashes the ability to get out of his stance and into defenders with good quickness. When he gets moving and makes contact, he can deliver a jarring blow.

I saw where we are in his lead group of 7 schools on 247, but do we have a legit shot here? There doesn't seem to be a lot of chatter for a high profile guy like this having us in a lead group.

Prince was among the standout performers of an offensive line group that was tasked with holding off four of the highest-ranked players in the country.

Friedman said the No. 31 prospect more than held his own.

"I don't think there is a better looking offensive lineman prospect in the country right now," he said. "He has great power and really good lateral movement."

District Heights (Md.) Bishop McNamara five-star offensive tackle Damian Prince says he won’t announce his college decision until National Signing Day.

Five programs have a great chance to be a finalist.

Alabama, Florida State, Maryland, Ohio State and Rutgers are all in good position for the nation’s No. 2 offensive tackle according to the 247Composite, and the country’s No. 15 prospect overall according to 247Sports.

Prince added that this summer he’s aiming to take visits to see the Crimson Tide, Seminoles and Buckeyes.

It speaks volumes about sophomore defensive end Josh Sweat's ability that he faced off with the top offensive lineman in attendance, and went 4-0 in their one-on-ones. While Sweat got the better of Prince, that didn't take away from the flashes of ability Prince displayed. He is light on his feet for his size and sinks well into his base, absorbing rushers. Sweat got the better of Prince in this setting, but I saw enough to know that even up the odds by putting the pads on and including a running game, and Prince can be dominating.

Prince, a five-star prospect who is currently the third-ranked offensive tackle in the 2014 class by 247Sports, has reshaped his body to the point where he almost looks like a different prospect than he did last spring (he measured in at an athletic 6-foot-5, 280 pounds). In addition to the invite to The Opening, Prince was named the offensive line MVP by the coaching staff. Prince has dozens of scholarship offers. The 247Sports Crystal Ball currently projects Florida State, but watch out for Rutgers, Ohio State, Alabama and a number of other programs. The Scarlet Knights in particular are of interest.

At the Richmond RCS, Prince showed that he has all the physical tools to be a great left tackle at the next level. The bad footing didn't really affect Prince as he was able to slide to stay in front of defenders. Prince played with a bit of a mean streak and kept defensive linemen at bay.

With a body already shaped for the next level, Prince is equipped with all of the natural physical tools to be a dominant left tackle. The 6-foot-5, 292-pound Prince was able to quickly dispatch most of the defensive linemen at the Richmond RCS using his quick, light feet to stay in front of them and pushing them away from the quarterback with his great strength. As his technique improves, it will be more and more difficult for any defensive lineman to get past him.

One such player is Prince, who showed a new dedication to football this offseason and cracked the top 10 with a shiny fifth star next to his name.

"With Prince, we knew he had the talent but it was the dedication we were looking for," Farrell said of the 6-foot-5, 292-pounder. "When we first saw him, he was around 330 pounds and just wasn't an elite athlete. Now that he's dropped the weight, and it wasn't really bad weight but it just slowed him down a bit, his footwork and athleticism are in that elite range."
