Seems to move really well. He's got a sturdier lower body than Shell.

That's great news then! If we could get a very solid group of Olinemen our offense could be great. Quarterbacks in place, running backs are outstanding, tight ends just Wow, and the Wide receivers are good enough. I really think we can score 40 a game with this Offense.

We did better with short guys, but we could use another tall WR that to go with Smith. Googer is supposed to be that guy.

Shell played in a run heavy offense in high school, and was rarely asked to do anything other than down block on a 3 technique. He is really a baby at his position. The fact that a senior end who weighs nearly 100 lbs less than him is quicker than him, shouldn't surprise you. Stop bashing our players particularly ones who do things the right way, were highly sought after, and chose to help us get better.

Not bashing the guy at all, I'm glad he chose us. I'm just stating what I saw during the year. Our Oline is not top level in my opinion. We can never really establish a consisted running game against our better competition. I've been a Carolina fan since the senior year of Big George and I can honestly say Carolina has more talent than ever, and we're now a winning program in my eyes. I think in order for us to win a SEC or National Championship we have to become better in our Oline.

He should not be a "baby" after 2 plus years at the SEC level. If you are not improving you're holding us back. Our line play needs to improve dramatically in 2013.

Well, any new recruits are not going to be proven either. Plan A I believe is to bring in Davidson, Googer, and Berrios. So yes we are recruiting WRs but it has nothing to do with lacking proven threats like Ellington, Jones, and Byrd. It's that we need to replace players that will soon graduate.

OL Orlando Brown of Suwanee, GA was scheduled to attend Georgia's junior day recently but was unable to make the trip. Brown cited a family situation for preventing him to go. Brown has named USC among his top ten schools along with Georgia but is in no hurry to narrow the list. "I don't know when I'll do it," he said. "I haven't really thought about it. USC has remained in touch with Brown. "I hear from them all of the time," said Brown. "I get hand-written letters and have talked to coach (G.A.) Mangus quite a bit." Brown named Arkansas and Oklahoma as his next two destinations and plans to visit California during spring break. As for Arkansas and Oklahoma he said, "They're both showing me a lot of interest and I really like their head coaches." Brown is planning a return trip to USC that could come during spring practice. He did not name a leader.

Brown won the MVP for his position for his performance. "They're great opportunities to play freshman year, great coaching staffs, and good colleges," said Brown, who plays at Suwanee (Ga.) Peachtree Ridge.
