Has he been a good player ? YES ..Is he the greatest? Well IMO.he is only as good as the team that surrounds him.It takes other players doing thier part to allow him to do his..History will decide if he was the best.ie just a couple years back the same was said about Ingram.I do how ever say he ranks as 1 of our ELITE. And sets the bar very high for future players

Potential to be? Yes. Is he? Can't tell yet. I would ask the OP to save this question until the end of this coming season. Then we'll know.
Not a slam on JC. But George carried the hopes, dreams and aspirations of his team, his university and half a state on his back for a full season without falter. For you younger guys who never saw him run to daylight, think Latti vs. Georgia for a whole season. The reason we were so quick to see Latti's magnificent heart was because George Rogers had already taught us how to recognize one. JC has already shown that he has the skills to be the the greatest Gamecock ever. And by season's end, we'll know if he had the heart. |
