The PF is the in-schooL suspension of CT. It's a great place to rage with no limits and get crap out of your system.

Those who miss the point don't last long and that's fine. It's the mosh pit of CT. If you see it for the catharsis that it is, it can actually be quite funny.

It's even gotten better. That's hard to believe.

Those are actually two pretty good comparisons. Still not sure why some people get so bent out of shape in there

The PF would be great if there was no name calling allowed. I talk politics on another message board, where no personal attacks are allowed, and it results in an actual discussion taking place, instead of hateful name calling. Really, though, it's only a handful of people who call names, over there, who drag the discussions into the gutter.

I used to like to post in there but I am tired of the name calling, it is a dirty habit that I picked up while posting in there. In particular the hypocrisy is awful one poster does something to another it is bad but the same who condemned another poster of the same thing does it, its okay. But for the most part I am staying out until it cleans up.

The political forum on SEC Rant/Tigerdroppings is pretty good. If you want a similar type Cockytalkesque place to discuss political things, I recommend it.

Don't feel bad. I've been trying to get in there for a few months. Two PMs to Khosk and one to Cockyhoskins. There are likely good reasons for the halt in new posters in there. Just continue to be patient is the only thing I can suggest.

Think of moderators like principals...they can suspend you our expel you if you misbehave. Gapi doesn't have any of those powers...he is more like a hall monitor our the safety patrol
