Player and coaches emotions are running high immediately following a game and when you throw some drunk idiot jumping and pushing and screaming and saying everything under the son in your face ... yeah, the likely hood of you or anyone else simply walking away is slim.

If some fan punched a player or K, than said person defended themselves, who would get the negative attention? Let the opposing team leave first then storm.

Earlier this year when (I THINK) NC State beat Duke. Their fans stormed the court and a fan in a wheel chair was knocked out of it onto the ground. NO fan stopped to help him up, but one of their players saw him and picked him up from the floor and held him until it calmed down enough to find his chair again.

Fans in the moment don't even care about their own ... what makes you think they'll care about one of the other guys?

If a Duke player tripped while going off the court and ended up on the ground ... there's no tell how long it'd take him to get off the floor.

It happened here when we beat UK. Cousins punched that kid in the face. Imagine if that had been Plumlee punching an excited UVA fan. The Cousins story went nowhere, but that crap would be top story on ESPN. Do you really blame K for trying to initiate change like the SEC already has?
