Much different when comparing a college to a pro team.
As odds are he is an alumni from the University. So when saying we, he is talking about the Football team that represents the University which he attended.


I get what he means but I don't see anything weird about it. I used to when referring to pro teams. But now as I've gotten older, I've seen more and more people will refer to their professional sport allegiances as "we".

Yes, because it is the flagship university of the state I've lived in my entire life, and I got my bachelors degree from Carolina.

My point is that some people mock others when they refer to Carolina as we, since they are not part of the team. Given how deep this draft is on defense getting the RB you need in FA and defense in the draft makes the most sense. They get a back in Jackson that is 29, 4 years younger then Turner for 2.9 million a year less then Turner's 6.9 would have been for 2013.
