A real pitcher's duel, until Clemson's shotty defense let Gossett down (he lived up to the billing).

Give Monty a gameball!
Also...went to that old formula...play solid, pitch well and wait for the other team to make a mistake.
We made those three errors count.

As for the "controversey" on Boulware's hit...it was still a live ball...if it bounces off the top of the fence and bounces back into the field of play, it is live...if it bounces over and goes out of the field of play, it is a homerun...quit bitching Clemson and play better if you want to beat us.
