One of FOX TV's subordinate cable stations, like FX. UFC has contract that allows many fights on all FOX affiliate channels, and this card has no titles on the line. Mostly to determine contenders for title bouts.

Pleased with the card so far. Based on the previous heavyweight fight, dos Santos and velaquez are way ahead of the rest of the field.

Five rounder! Cool. Light heavyweights...

Rd 1- start out slow but then a furious pace of punches! Stann slips and then drops WS, and again! After a huge flurry of combos they brawl. Stann with an accidental shot in the jewels to Silva. Restart! Silva counters a punch after Stann kicks. Trading furiously, Stann is dropped and bleeding. He gets up gives it back to Silva before they hit the mat, Stann in guard.

Rd 2- BS cut on bridge of nose. Silva fights like a caged animal! Now shorter combos. Stann warned for another blow to the huevos of Silva. Waney throws a good right hand and Stann answers but takes a head kick. Silva drops Stann and finishes him on the mat!! KO by Wanderlai Silva over Brian Stann!

Probably will be fight of the night. I give it my vote!

UFC is having cards televised on cable/satellite and they Produce about 20 PPV cards each year in addition to the free ones. Probably 28-30 events each year. I wold miss a lot of them because its difficult to keep up with all of the advertising.

But then I got the UFC app! Now I get alerts for any and all events now. Yay!

Soon we will get the TUF Finale 17, then UFC on FOX8
8, and so on...

in 2weeks will be the next PPV, UFC 158- GSP vs Nick Diaz.

I really like Nick Diaz but I don't think he can make GSP really fight him. GSP is too fast and athletic for him. I expect a boring GSP staying away and picking his shots in smart for him/ boring fight. Hope I am wrong, I want to see some heavy exchanges.

GSP is the better athlete and fighter and should beat Diaz. He probably won't finish him as Nick is too good in all phases. Nick is an absolute beast in the cage but is a headcase! Supremely talented and dangerous but GSP wants to make an example of him. He calls him "the most disrespectful" person he has ever met. I can't argue...
