WR Demarre Kitt of Tyrone, GA Thursday night tweeted out his new short list of schools and Clemson and USC are both on the list. He also has Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M. West Virginia, Oregon, UCLA, Southern Cal, Oklahoma State and Michigan. He plans to cut his list to 8-10 schools after spring practice. Kitt was at Clemson’s junior day last month.

Demarre Kitt is the top receiver in Georgia and he has been a part of two state championships in the past three years. He is not going to wow you with one part of his game, but he plays as fast as he needs to and he is about as consistent as they come.

"Committing early so I can focus on my senior year and winning another ring and help build my class," Kitt wrote. Kitt is choosing between Clemson, Tennessee and Ohio State. Kitt may visit Clemson and Tennessee one more time but he won't make a return trip to Ohio State due to the distance. Kitt is close friends with Clemson quarterback commitment Deshaun Watson.

WR Demarre Kitt of Tyrone, GA has set June 10th for his commitment date and is down to Clemson, Tennessee and Ohio State. All three schools have been by to see him this spring. Kitt is not hinting at a favorite and had high praise for each school during an interview at a recent combine. “Clemson has been in it since day one and they really showed me what I can do when I get there,” Kitt said. “Their depth chart is small right now and I’ve got an opportunity to come in and play as a freshman.” Kitt has visited Clemson on multiple occasions. He’s also been to Tennessee and Ohio State. “I love the Tennessee coaches and their offense and they have the same depth chart as Clemson,” he said. “They are real skinny, too, and that’s another opportunity. Ohio State is The Ohio State. Coach Meyer, everything is a plus up there. Good campus, good school.” Kitt added that distance will not be a factor in his decision. Working in Clemson’s favor is his friendship with Tiger quarterback commitment Deshaun Watson.

Watson isn't committed to Clemson, he's committed to Morris. When Morris leaves, Watson decommits

Having Watson decommit would be great. I have watched him closely over the last year and he is an exceptional player. He is attracting quality receivers to climpson. Til they get the same quality ol all is in vain for them.
