Also, UGA's CB and overall defense will be tested by Clemson chucking the ball around.

Looking over their depth chart, it would appear that we'll be facing a 6-4, 205 RS-So QB, Kanler Coker, who is an alum of none other than Flowery Branch HS in Georgia. I guess Connor Shaw's dad just might be hit up for a scouting report or 2 on this kid.

On a side note, that's a pretty big honor for Coach Shaw to have 3 of his QB's (that I know of) go on to Div 1 football.

They have Brenn Renner who is 5th year senior starter. Renner is talented QB who can run and throw. He could really hurt us if we don't play solid D.

LOL, Tanner got pushed around here. Anyone that thinks a 6pm game on Thursday to start the season helps us, is sadly mistaken. Not only will it be a nightmare for people in Columbia to make it to the game after work but it will be a disaster for people traveling. Everyone talks about the atmosphere for the UK and Ole Miss Thursday night games, which was great as I was at both, but you have to remember those were against top 5 teams and most importantly, at 7pm. That extra hour makes a big difference for those of us with careers.

Its unfortuante that those of us who shell out a decent chunk of change every year for these tickets and GCC dues essentially lose a Saturday in the fall. Sure it's good exposure but so is 3pm or 8pm on Saturday. It will be nice once we can finally get past these gimicky Thursday night games. There's a reason the ACC and Big East are the main Thursday attractions during the season...
