UNC's twitter feed has the only confirmation I have found yet. It says it was a deal between the ACC and ESPN, yet the game is being played in a SEC stadium. Something just doesn't feel right about this.
Never mind. I found Tweets from both sides. USC/UNC at 6:00, Vandy/Ole Miss at 9:15 I absolutely hate that time. Come on ESPN, YOU HAVE 6 ALTERNATE CHANNELS! USE THEM! Even just 30 minutes would make a huge difference. Why not do USC/UNC at 6:45, and Vandy/Ole Miss at 9:30(8:30 central)? The first game could be on ESPN2, and the second on ESPN.

I am starting vacation from work the Wednesday before. I am loving the 6 pm kickoff will tailgate starting at 330. Thursday games are good for the local economy. More out of towners stay in town on a Thursday night game than a Saturday game

For Noon games I have to wake up at 5 am to get to 6:15 Band practice that day. But I do get to party afterwards...
