I have a ref license, here is my opinion.

1. I will have given a yellow card.

2. 6 out of 10 times, if you have your studs up you will get a red card.

That being said, the ref was no completely wrong, its all about protecting players from bad injuries.

As a Madrid fan but as a mature adult, here is one funny fact.

The ref follows Madrid and Ronaldo on twitter

Anyway, Rooney chocked, Van Persie choked, they are just not good enought.

Good luck next year.

Hard to argue with this, sadly.

That being said, the ref was no completely wrong, its all about protecting players from bad injuries.

Arbeloa put himself in that position. Nani was going for the ball. He had no way of knowing Arbeloa was going to come running in. Besides, why would United try to take him out of the game? He is the one they were attacking up until Nani got sent off. He was getting absolutely abused.

As a Madrid fan but as a mature adult, here is one funny fact.

That is pretty funny.

Anyway, Rooney chocked, Van Persie choked, they are just not good enought.

Come on, now. You're smarter than that.

Good luck next year.

Let's be realistic here, ManU need better players, yes a great team but their top players arent even in the top 25 in the world.

You all are a great side. There is no denying that.

Van Persie had chances in both games, yes he choked.

That does not mean he choked.

Rooney had a volley that a middle school kid could have finished, yes he choked too.

That wasn't a fabulous finish, but I wouldn't call that a choke either. Let's not forget that SAF brought Roo off the bench when we were in desperation mode. Roo didn't have much time to make an impact.

Let's be realistic here, ManU need better players, yes a great team but their top players arent even in the top 25 in the world.

First of all, name 24 players on the planet that are better than RvP. Second of all, we went up against Real Madrid with our "inferior players" and we had you dominated up until the match official decided to hand the match to you guys. The problem in this fixture wasn't our players, but rather the match official. Your boy Mourinho admitted it. I don't see why you can't.

Interesting information about the ref following RM and Ronaldo on Twitter. With the recent scandal involving match fixing in Europe and Asia, refs have to do a much better job at being objective - or at least, looking objective.

When is the last time you saw a bad/questionable call like that against Man U at Old Trafford in a match of this magnitude? Seriously, let the players play. Give him the yellow and move on.

With that said, I know Madrid has some history but RM has only 3 trophies in the last 5 years - all in Spain (La Liga last year, Copa del Rey 2010-11, Supercopa 2012). They haven't won a thing in Europe for over a decade. Last year was the first time they even advanced beyond the last 16 in the CL in a few years.

So I would ease up on the smack talk. I hate Man U but they've had a LOT more success than RM has had. Heck, Bayern is a much more successful club lately than RM.

So Van Persie choked and Rooney choked? I was ready to give credit to the RM keeper.

I guess Ronaldo choked on the breakaway at the end of regulation too?

The third best team Spain won't be able to hang on to Ronaldo much longer.

As far as Ronaldo, he can go anywhere he wants, Madrid is bigger than any Coach or player, to be honest I don't like Mourinho, never have, to me, we need a Coach that build attacking teams no "counter" attacking teams.

I don't think Ronaldo is staying either, he wants to make more money, but his time at Madrid is appreciated.

Ronaldo is still no next to our greatest such as Zidane or Di Stefano.

Congrats on being something other than a running joke for the first time in a decade. Let's see how much you achieve once the special one leaves. Love him or hate him, he manages egos. Probably because his is the biggest one in the room. United will be fine, we are bigger than this fixed match. UEFA will get their wish of having no english clubs in the quarterfinals.

P.S. Funny how the ref took down his twitter account the week before the match. I guess he didn't want to appear biased.

Lets make sure next year, we send a ref that make no mistakes, what else do you want?

A ref that score goals for Manchester too? That would be perfect since your pathetics forwards choke in front of the goal

That's a lot of boasting for a team that hasn't won anything outside of their own country since 2002.

Bayern got lucky last year, but the fact that we whooped Barca with our bench and knock out the # 1 team in England is still part of the process to get the 10th
