I hope we win tonight mainly for the sake of Lakeem Jackson and Shane Phillips. Lakeem has been a productive player in his career. He seems to be a quality young man. I don't recall ever hearing of any behavior problems with him. Lakeem has been the victim of circumstances at USC. The injuries, dismissals, transfers, and loss of eligibility of some of his teammates have robbed Lakeem of the chance to play on teams that were more successful. I admire both of these young men. I am praying for them that they will have very successful lives. Lakeem wants to play professionally in Europe. If he can get on a good team, he can be successful. I wish both Lakeem and Shane much success, and I hope they can close their careers at USC with a win.

I'm having a hard time believing that we are 8.5 point favorites tonight.

Who knows...maybe we can beat a discombobulated Bulldogs team.
Should have beat them last time....so hopefully the guys are motivated to win one for Lakeem.

That would be nice to not finish in the cellar two years in a row.

I thought this would be an easy win earlier in the season and we lost... I then STILL thought this would be an easy win for us tonight until Miss. State managed to beat Ole Miss (arguably both team's best win). Now I have no idea... I'm guessing we lose because I don't want to get my hopes up.

I may be one of few but I'm going to miss Lakeem Jackson. He may not have been the best player, but he brought the effort every night. And I appreciate that after we've had some players that had loads of talent in gave minimum effort.

I'm expecting a kinda hard fought, sloppy game that will be won by the worst of the two teams.
