I see how Williams shoots, if he gets close shots he builds up confidence and then starts to step back. "the same with every bball player" But this kid has some hidden talent or either he just had a really really really lucky game

Ok, got the win. :thumb: But our worst weakness showed itself - the ability to play possession-to-possession down the stretch, and that has to be remedied. The games we gave away this year should be a constant reminder in the offseason.

He's been there offensively the whole year. He just hasn't done that well defensively, which kept him on the bench because Martin wants guys that can play D.

Williams has always been our best shooter, I just think lacks a little in other areas that upsets Martin. But we need people that can put the ball in the hole, he is a start. Uh, ball going thru hoop is the purpose of game?

Brenton was nasty tonight! Got caught uptown and had to watch the game on my phone at a Huddle House while I was eating dinner.

The funny thing is, Martin will probaby only play Brenton 4 minutes next game, and we'll have someone start a thread about Martin, defense and his system.

I had a front row seat to this win, 2 rows behind Casey Manning and Andy Demetra......I am on the events staff. It was great to close out the home schedule with a win, and the guys looked happy. Coach Martin didn't, and that's to be expected....The guys could have given this one away, and that was the general feeling when MSU started to whittle down our lead that waffled between 15 and 19 points for part of both halves......The other bright side, Lakeem Jackson wins his final home game.
