forgot to bring these little SC details up a couple months ago:

1) there's a mission where you send an assassin to SC and he's supposed to investigate and STOP FRANCIS MARION?? WTF?? Weird direction to go with that by the Ubisoft writers, i mean hell, they could have made him out to be the leader of the Southern Assassin's and it would've totally fit... bizarre.

2) the Charleston outfit is badass, only a hair behind the NY outfit (hard to beat Gamecock colors)

Has anyone downloaded the Tyranny of KingWashington? Wondering how it is and if its worth it?

Yeah I was very surprised when I beat the game. I was like, Huh?.. that's it? I think I was maybe 58% finished @ the time... very weird.

Yeah, I didn't get that either.. Even though it was a mission you never took part of, it still was annoying to me that they put it in there

I am downloading the game now. Got a 30% off coupon for my birthday from Ubisoft. Got the deluxe AC3, all of the add ons, and present and future DLC for $50. Got 2 free games with it as well. Anything I need to know starting out?

Some of my thoughts:

The naval missions are the best thing about this game. A unique game experience in every way.

Main story is strong however I thought Haytham is cooler than Connor

The board games are unbelievably hard. Don't waste your time.

Its fun to free roam and hunt.

Rope darts are a blast. French cutlass is the best sword.

I probably prefer Ezio's games but still a very good game.

Captain kidds sawtooth sword is the best sword imo

Assassin creed 4 protagonist will be edward kenway. Hathams father, connors grandfather. Ps3 will have exclusive hour of gameplay

Got the game for christmas and just got around to playing it now. Pretty neat game but I can't say too much because I have only played for a couple of hours. I really like the story

Man I've always gotten bored playing AC and never beat any of them but his one sounds great, love the Rev. war setting. If I were to pick this up would I be lost or can I start this one and not feel like I'm missing something?

You'd be fine picking this one up the connection to the other game is very loose

I never played any of the others and felt right at home picking this one up. I think you will be fine.

I'm about 11% in. Not my usual sort of thing but I am enjoying it. Fantastic story line!
