Panthers have MUCH more individual talent than the Rams have....while panthers obv have holes to fill, we are not in the Rams shape

panthers have really solid QB and almost all O skill positions, could use another #2 WR and OL needs some work...but if we get our guys healthy back we are better than we were last year - the rams need RB, WRs, TE, OL, and have a solid QB

i think the rams talent on D is worse than carolina too....but i will say i really like fisher and what he does with his D....he gets the most out of what he has

Panthers are set at both DEs, all LBs, and secondary and DT is in schambles.....Rams have two really good DEs but they need everything else on D besides like MLB and i 'think' their CBs are not in so bad of shape i know they have courtland and jenkins and im sure they gonna give that DT they got last year more time but considering how bad they vs the run last year they might wanna look into it

overall panthers have more depth at almost every position more than rams....we could easily gamble on Lattimore and if it didnt work out we would still have tolbert and stewart....if the Rams do, then it really seems like they kinda wasted a spot b/c they have so many other holes to fill

and no way he goes in 2nd round

Because you're implying that I'm somehow calling him out or questioning his toughness when I wasn't doing anything of the sort. I don't "feel special", im saying your flame of my post as some sort of knock on Marcus is way off-base.

Bottom line is that there are much better scenarios than the Rams for him. The reality is he's coming back from a serious injury and the Rams lack several elements that I personally think would be ideal. As I've already stated, I'll be happy wherever he goes, but forgive me for having the opinion that some situations are better than others, and that's not an indictment of Marcus to say so. Maybe I misunderstood you, but it seemed said you were saying I'm impugning his toughness. Which I wasn't. You're a rams fan and want him there. I get that. I have preferences to where id like to see him go. We can agree to disagree on it. But not questioning his toughness.

And maybe better scenarios for the Rams than Marcus. Teams desperately trying to build something should focus their draft picks on guys who can offer immediate help.
Marcus is the kind of guy that would be best somewhere where they can afford to grab him and sit him. 49ers, Ravens, or Pats are teams on the opposite end of the food chain from the Rams. If Marcus is not ready by Aug, I think there's a good chance he goes on IR and sits out '13. Will be interesting to see just how valuable the NFL sees Marcus.

There is no chance Latti is in the second round the only way that would go in the second is if he were 100% by Pro Day. If I were GM the highest I would draft him is the 5th round. Runningbacks in the NFL are an expendable commodity and Lattimore has yet to play to full season while at USC so that is going to be an issue for NFL scouts, coaches, and players. Everyone in America knows that the kid can ball but we have to wait and see how everything turns out.

Daryl Richardson is a pretty good back. The Rams relied on him a lot when SJax was injured and he did pretty well. I keep hearing the 49ers and it makes sense. Sit behind Gore for the next couple of years and learn from him. Gore has 1 or 2 more years left in him.

You're getting more than a runningback with marcus in my opinion. Along with the off the field leadership, weight room work, dedication: He reminds me a lot of Felix Jones but about 10 lbs. bigger. Great 3rd down back who can catch the ball extremely well out of the backfield, and can pick up the blocking assignments, While quietly averaging 4.8 yds. a carry over his first 4 seasons in the NFL.

Why would you invest an earlier draft pick into a kid who couldn't stay healthy for 13 games much less 20+ games a year? Injuries happen and GMs look at that except if you are Marty Hurney.
