Well the Panthers are garbage, so I guess thats a good thing. I think he'll go in the 3rd round. Hopefully somewhere warm, but I got a feeling it's gonna be Pittsburgh.

49ers are definitely interested as are the Jets, though the Jets are looking for an immediate replacement for Greene (which would obviously not be ML #21)

Agree....some team that can afford to snag him and sit on him for a year. Still there could be some issues if they put him on IR....what if he's ready to play mid-season and wants out? He could get waived and picked up by another team. And seems IR money is about 1/2 of reg. pay.
Teams need to work his contract so he's a keeper.

When reading about what was discussed at the combine during the team interviews, I didn't get the felling that Marcus is as far along as some of us had hoped. I'm afraid what that could mean is he will not be able to play during the 2013 season......and it's doubtful that any team would draft him if he weren't able to play this year. Remember, within a couple of weeks after it happened, they were talking at least 14 months which takes him to December 2013. Of course none of us knows how this will turn out and we are all hoping he can fully recover sooner rather than later, but I'm just trying to be realistic. Before he signs (drafted or fa), Dr. Andrews is going to have to prove with medical evidence to the team docs than Marcus' knee is fine and he is fit to play football. There just weren't a lot of positive comments from the teams after talking with Dr. Andrews and examining the x-rays.

He could be going to Atlanta if he falls to them in the fourth round. I am not sure if they will draft anything other than defense in the first three rounds, but they are going to eventually need a running back in the future, and Lattimore would be a nice fit.
