By the end of the night, everyone in the Horseshoe knew who Scott was. The Florida native was smooth and fluid as a wide receiver and even doubled up at defensive back effectively for several reps. Scott earned plenty of one-on-one attention from Urban Meyer and has put himself on the map as one of the top receivers in the country.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Scott is both a wide receiver and defensive back prospect; he played both at several camp stops this summer, including Ohio State's Friday Night Lights Camp last week. Scott was also a standout at Florida State's camp and the IMG 7-on-7 National Championships in July, and he has solidified his place among the prospects to watch from the Sunshine State in 2014.

Scott visited Clemson recently for a junior day. "I had fun and I got to see snow," said Scott. "I had a great time with the coaches. It's a great school. It seemed like a family so it was pretty cool." He heads to Michigan next week for a junior day and it will be his third trip to Ann Arbor. "I like everything they bring to the table," he said. "It's a tradition and they play in the biggest (stadium) in the country so that's pretty cool." Scott has not heard as much from the Gamecocks but he would like to visit. "When I've talked to them, they've told me how they want me to come there and just kept me up-to-date on what's going on," said Scott. He did not name a leader.

ATH Artavis Scott of Tarpon Springs, FL says he's talking a lot with Clemson these days, to the tune of about twice a week. He attended Clemson's junior day last month. "I like them a lot," Scott said of Clemson. "I can't really say anything right now. They are in the process." Scott also went to Louisville's junior day. He has no future visits planned. His offer list includes Clemson, USC, Georgia, Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, West Virginia, Tennessee, Louisville, Miami and Oklahoma. Scott does not have favorites and he said he won't announce a decision until the Army All American Game in January.

While the 5-foot-10, 175-pound Scott posted an impressive 4.2 shuttle and 34-inch vertical, it’s when it becomes time to play receiver that Scott impresses the most. He’s not only quick off the line and getting into routes, but continues to show plus hands, impressive body control and the ability to make every catch and play on the ball required. He took home the NFTC MVP award at wide receiver. The Top247 prospect has offers from Florida State, Florida, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame and a host of others. Scott is smooth at receiver and catches everything thrown his way. Nobody was able to slow him down or give him a hard time. He makes it look easy.

Scott was the go-to-guy for defending National Champions, Team Tampa. Even though he's only 5-foot-10 and 175-pounds, Scott's leaping ability allows him to make plays at slot or on the outside. There weren't many cornerbacks that could slow Artavis Scott when his number was called.

One of the most impressive athletes out on the field at IMG Academy was Tarpon Springs (Fla.) East Lake wide receiver Artavis Scott. The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder caught upwards of five touchdowns passes on Saturday, showing his ability to run nearly every type route.

Scott has more than 20 offers at this time and will take his time when narrowing down his options.

"I don't know. I really don't worry about all that stuff right now. I really don't have any standings on any team," said Scott.

The four-star receiver has taken a few visits this spring. He was in attendance at Florida's Orange and Blue Debut, took a trip to Michigan last weekend, and may visit Miami before the end of the month. He has also shown interest in Florida State.

"They [FSU] throw the ball a lot. And me having a connection with Coach [Lawrence] Dawsey, it just makes it even better for me," said Scott.

While Scott my not have a favorite school at the moment, his mother is a different story.

"She's cool with wherever I wanna go. Well, she likes Florida, but, I don't know, it's whatever I want."
