The 49ers actually averaged less rushing yds. per game with Kaepernick and threw for more yards with him. Yeah he's mobile, but he proved he can throw from the pocket. The offense they run will put him in positions to make big plays. Same with RGIII.

It's a good move. While Boldin isn't the top of his game anymore, he isn't done either. Prob has a few more years left in him barring injury but he also has trade value. It's not a top pick but he isn't worth a top pick either. And no, they're in no way rivals. That's just silly.

Hater? OK. I'll accept that. Kaepernick has an extremely small sample size, and the 49ers just got rid of his insurance policy in case he flounders next year. He could turn out to be the Next Best Thing, but I've got my doubts.

The 49ers are a very, very talented team. And Boldin only makes them more so. But I've got to think that Harbaugh has a pretty short shelf life. His whining and childish act would have to get old in the locker room.

herschel, who wasnt that great in the nfl, gets traded for 12 guys and boldin who elevartes every team and has come back from a facial reconstruction gets dealt for 1 sixth rounder..

We really needed Anquan to restructure his contract and that didn't happen. Now we have $13 million to work with and will focus on other players: Ellerbe, Pitta, Dickson (sadly), and Arthur Jones.
