I believe Clowney was averaging less than 1 sack per game last season until he went off for 5 sacks vs Clemson. I think a lot of you have unrealistic expectations.

I think if Whammy turns him loose he may get more sacks, but teams will use that against us.....the point, more sacks for him doesn't necessarily help us. I think English may get a bunch of sacks.

I expect Clowney to have a slightly better season but the other two Defensive Ends to see a better increase in production.

We aren't talking about LAST year, the record for FBS teams is 24 and he will make a good run at it. He's better than Suggs.

I'm sure that he will be better this year, but he also won't have Taylor on the other side to take some of the focus off of him. I expect most offenses to devote their pass-blocking schemes almost entirely to blocking Clowney. As far as the run game, they will probably run straight at Clowney's side, although I have a hunch that Clowney will be more disciplined against the run this year.
