Yes, sometime this spring and he def wanted to get it done before his season.

I would make an educated guess that it could be at our Spring Game when he decides to commit.

The UNC 247 site has him visiting UNC on April 5th according to his timeline. However, the March 9th visit to UNC was not listed, nor is a visit to USC spring game listed. Although most think he will commit to USC, another visit to UNC may indicate UNC has given him something to think about. The Tar Heels think it is down to them and USC. Both UNC and USC has their spring game on the same day.

i didn't hear it, that just where my mind went after someone said they heard teams were backing off. Only reason i've ever heard for teams backing off a player

Wow man that is very misleading. The reason TBS says Teams are backing off is because they feel he is a lock to USC. Nothing to do with his ability,knee, or academics. Teams feel that he has already made his mind up and he is going to USC so they do not want to invest the time recruiting a kid that has basically made his mind up.

Spain would be a borderline 5 star if he was not injured.. that being said he will be a beast and we are lucky if he does indeed choose us.. Has very few weak spots

Wish his page was getting the love others are (hell Pringle has double the pages).. he could very well be our best '14 recruit and our best OL commit in a long time

Spain will have a red shirt year to get fully healthy if that is even a concern at this point. It sure is nice to have the ability to give these incoming Carolina olinemen a year to grow and develop before throwing them in the meat grinder of the SEC trenches. A far cry from where we were only a few years ago.
