Listening to 107.5 on the way to work this morning, they were replaying an interview with Coach Holbrook, from when I assume was after the game last night. He said he and Coach Meyers were going to figure out the weekend rotation likely after the Davidson game tonight.
He did sound pretty solid in a few ideas though: -Belcher was going to start Saturday's game -Beal was going to start one of the games (he even said he was '80%' sure) -They would have to figure out the other spot I didn't hear Holmes' name come up as potential for a start, I'm sure he's still in the mix, but I guess they are looking at what they got. I know they had Wynkoop on a pitch count last night, and he didn't go too deep (didn't look like his best either), so I would imagine he's in the mix for a Sunday start, as it sounded like Belcher was going Saturday, and I can't think they would pitch Wynkoop Friday after going last night, not that he couldn't, just why would you go on short rest when you don't have to. |
