You did better than I did. We started walking when the 8th was over. It was freezing with that wind! I got very annoyed when they started changing pitchers after Britt every few minutes. Yeah, I know the new guys need game experience, but I was COLD and it made the game drag. I was actually hoping Davidson would make some quick plays in the 8th because I was FREEZING. Heck, the only reason I stayed for the 8th was because LB was supposed to bat and I didn't want to miss HR #3, but they pulled him to give Celek some experience. Did anyone not get to bat tonight?

The only reason they had those runs was because our coaching staff is smart enough to use mid week games to let new pitchers gain game experience. Did you not notice how most of our starting lineup was pulled by the end of the game to let the bench play some positions and bat? Letting the bench play and gain experience and giving up some runs will be more beneficial to us down the road than shutting out a non conference opponent when we were up by 11.
