Highly doubt it. According to 247, he is rated a 4 star, but toward the bottom of the top 247 (like 220 ish.) It would take a major bump to get to a 5th star.

He seems like a great player, but I don't see him as some kind of dominating force to warrant a 5 star rating. However, with some serious strength training I think he could become one of the elite. It will be interesting see how much he improved as a senior.

You can get worried over this now if you want to, there is just short of an infinite amount of things that could occur between now and National Signing Day to change his mind, none of which will change if you, I or anyone else on this board follow his every move. I follow recruiting moderately, you can look back over the January timeframe and I had a few posts. My point was that for me personally there is just too much time to get wired about it.

we're going to be tough to beat for him because of the long-standing relationship he has developed with our coaching staff. Lorenzo Ward & Botkin found him early and been working him ever since.

That sounds good for us. I think we land BAW, he has visited all these top SEC schools and after every visit still says we lead. His mother also expresses the same feelings towards USC. I still hope he commits in August so he can help recruit because he will definitely influence some recruits decisions.

The article I read said he now may commit in August. A few weeks ago, he had said he wasn't going to commit till NSD. It seems to me, the earlier he decides, the better for us.

The longer he holds out, the more time another coaching staff will have to build those relationships with BAW and his family.

That has been the glaring advantage SC has had over everyone else thus far in the process.

Only other schools with a chance to turn BAW is UGA and Bama, with UGA having the best shot.

Agreed, hope he does commit in August, his commitment would help us out greatly with other prospects. I just think the relationship BAW and his mother have with coach Ward and USC being BAWs first offer is too strong. We also were the first to offer his younger brother Atwuan Jackson (I could be wrong).

Considering he has publicly stated his top ten with UGA #2 and Bama #3 I would say those are the only 2 that could affect his decision. BAW isn't like most recruits where he changes his top 5 schools every week after he visits another school. He sets his top schools in order and they seems to stay that way. They have also been his number 2 and 3 from the beginning.

And to my knowledge his family hasn't been to either of those places yet, so UGA and Bama aren't any more relevant than someone like Arizona or UMass, IMO.

Any school that gets his mom down for a visit is a serious contender.
