Exactly. While I recognize the sarcasm, it was still a fail. Which brings me to the question- is it worse to fail outright, or to fail while trying to come across as witty and cool? I'd say the latter.

There's a difference between being unranked and a 3 star.

Recruiting gurus do not. There is a reason that 15 of the 32 first round draft choices in 2012 were ranked either 2 or 3 stars by rivals - "gurus" don't know how to evaluate potential.

When our coaches think a player is good enough to offer and take early, WE need to accept that they know more than any recruiting guru around. Case in point: Pharoah Cooper.
