Ericvol has always been respectful of us on this board. He came on here to share some info about a big recruit that they landed- talked exactly ZERO trash- and then multiple posters started talking trash and one even told him that WE are the "big dogs" of the SEC. lol. Yes, we are having unprecedented success, and I'm loving it as much as the next guy, but please. Another poster actually commented to Ericvol, "pride comes before the fall"... lmao WHAT? Is this bizarro world? My fellow SC fans need to take that advice right now. There is a portion of our fanbase who acts like we are some elite program. We've never won our conference, never even been to a BCS Bowl. Even great programs have down years, and we WILL have down years, down eras even, and all of the BS some of you talk is going to end up making you look really stupid when it happens.

You gotta understand the difference between this staff and the last one. The last one had absolutley no history of success together or apart to sell or fall back on when things got tough.

Butch has 4 championships in 6 years working with this staff. So even if things start slow, which I am sure they likely will, he will still be able to sell his resume and vision without it falling on deaf ears.

Please tell me you can understand that concept?

The "pride comes before the fall" was in reference to a now deleted post of Ericvol saying he would be smiling while they were passing us on the way to the top. So, yeah. Ericvol usually comes on the board with just info or pretty thoughtful comments, and i've never had problems on the board bc I don't do any trash talking. Nashville is really starting to up their HS football game.

This is our third year in a row with 6+ top 250 ranked players.

Basically around the same as the State of SC every year and you all have to split the state with Clemson.

TN isn't in as much trouble as you would think!
