Given how deep this draft is on defense getting the RB you need in FA and defense in the draft makes the most sense. They get a back in Jackson that is 29, 4 years younger then Turner for 2.9 million a year less then Turner's 6.9 would have been for 2013.

I thought Turner was 33 my bad. He isn't in near the physical shape Jackson is in though Turner has become a leadfooted butterball too slow to hit the hole. Steven Jackson is still in prime shape
