Yes, their stadium is smaller and not as nice as ours. Not many are. It is a fact. I see nothing wrong with comparing sport venues. Theirs will improve once the SEC money starts flowing. MizzouAstro agreed their stadium was subpar. I wouldn't boo hoo if a LSU fan said Alex Box was bigger. It is the truth.

The important thing is everyone was courteous and welcoming to the Mizzou fans who posted.

The current state of MU's facilities seems less than what is expected for an SEC school right now.

And that makes me like them in spite of them being SEC East rival.

I want to see what effect the extra money and attention the other Columbia gets and how that affects their facilities going forward.

I anticipate hating them one day but for now I am curiously interested.

Mizzou's field is a dump. It would have been nice to see the crowd and the stadium, but that would have required them to put in some more cameras. They've invested too much money in that wonderful camera behind the cage already.

You could not have gone to UF's McKethan stadium and think it is a dump. It is not the largest stadium at 5,500 but it is a nice stadium. It is very comparable to the Sarge which was still a very nice stadium.

I did. Very bland stadium. The Sarge wasn't exactly very nice. Very old. Press box was very outdated. It had character though.

I used to like the Sarge. And it was the students that were brutal to the opposing teams. Thats part of what made it an imposing place to play. Of course I like the new stadium better just because its nicer. You have to win consistently to get people to come out before you can start up-grading your facilities. Mizzou might get there someday.
