Vols fans are getting tired of being the brunt of football jokes.

In an attempt to put water on that smoldering dumpster-fire they got going at Neyland, they get uber excited over 16-year-old-kids who think they are going to make drastic changes.

Thing is, Vols football has been set back many years by you know what and they won't taste success for another decade, if they're lucky.

Can you please elaborate because I don't understand. How are they set back that drastically at this point? Are there some NCAA sanctions/restrictions currently on them that I'm not aware of? They can recruit and have excellent facilities... seems like the they could easily be competitive in the division with just a couple years of excellent recruiting and good coaching.

They came very close to beating us... what? 4 months ago?

Saban sent 100 to Alvin Kamara last cycle. It must not be that stupid for someone as up-tight as CNS to do so.

Kids want to "feel the love" from their prospective coaches. That's what recruiting is. It may seem obnoxious to us, but the kids are ultimately deciding between the staffs that want them most/they feel most comfortable with. We would all like to hear more kids chose the school and not the staff, but that's just the age we live in.
