VHS to DVD question

What is the cheapest way to do this without a computer involved?

I bought a dvd vhs combo some years back that will do it......cost 400 in about 2008, might be a lot cheaper now. BTW it broke after a year.

You can do it for about $30 or $40 with a computer and a VCR with this:

Here is really cheap one so you can see better picture, but I don't know how well something that cheap will work.

You just plug the usb end into your computer and the red/white/yellow tips into the VCR. It will transfer it to your computer and you can burn away.

Whatever you buy will have software, so make sure it will work with your version of Windows or Mac.
