I think the four number ones should have been louisville, gonzaga, indiana, and miami. That stretch where kansas lost three in a row and looked horrible should have counted against them.

it definitely could be argued that Miami should have had a 1 seed but make no mistake a2 seed is cake

I agree. Kansas also was gifted like 2-3 wins by ref calls at the end of games. they should have lost to Iowa State, if the ref wasn't a moron.

Also I think Iowa State over ND first round.

Think Louisville won't win it all, likely an elite 8 loss. They play really physical and all it takes is the wrong refs, who call it tight, and they will foul out too many important guys.

I see Louisville making it to the Final Four but losing there, they seem to always have a lot of talent and put together a run under Pitino but can never put it all together. As for Kansas, I think they lose in the round of 32 to the winner of UNC/Nova.

I think the South is incredibly weak. Let's take a look:

1 Kansas: inexcusable losses, inconsistency
2 Georgetown: offense has lulls, Porter has to carry the team at times
3 Florida: not well-tested; let's be honest, the SEC wasn't great this year
4: Michigan: no defense. Wouldn't be surprised if they lost to S. Dak. St or VCU
5: VCU: great defense, but average offense that is based from that D
6: UCLA: injury bug may cost them here
7: San Diego St: didn't do much to impress anyone this season

compare that to the other brackets and it's not close. For getting the #1 overall seed, I feel like Louisville got one hell of a tough bracket. But I guess that's the beauty of March Madness.

While the First Four games were being played, USC Aiken advanced to the Division II Elite Eight tonight for the first time in program history.

Middle Tennessee State really proved they deserved to be in the tourney. What a joke it was putting them in.

Does anyone else think it is unfair that they put 16 seeds in play in games? Those teams won their league and deserve to get to play on Thursday or Friday. Make all the last teams in play to earn the right to be playing on Thursday and Friday.

Middle tenn st and st marys was an 11 seed matchup. The 16 should be set.
I think the play in games sould be the last bubble teams in. They probably be fighting for like a 11 seed. If they want to insist on the play in games being the "first round" make it big time. Think about it last four in were st marys, mid tn st, la salle and boise. Wouldnt tenn vs st marys, mid tn st vs uk, uva vsmade boise or marykland vs last salle made more people watch?

Yea we get it seeding but don't just throw away an entire regular season like that
