Laird will be fine. He had a great year with the bat last year and has been great in the clubhouse from what I've heard.

Freeman has hit a bomb to left
Simmons has hit 2 HRs today
Heyward doubled and scored on Upton's base hit.

It has been a few years since this team has a had much pop.... I would love for this year to be a little different and it should be considering all of the bats in our lineup.
