Everything I read on TBS says max of 15. I suspect they will wait and see how this year's group progresses to see if they need to take either 2 or 3 WR. And the spring practices will have a lot to do with that.

Every year we sign more than we're expecting to in March, it never fails. Guys don't qualify in the class just signed and we can count however many EE from the next class back to their spots, attrition happens(transfers), guys leave early. In March we don't know about how these things will occur. My bold prediction is more than 15. I will say 17-20.

This year is much different because we only have 4 graduating seniors. There have been a number of threads on this topic. I think you might want to go back and read those threads to see what has already been discussed about this.

Graduation is not the only reason players are no longer on the team. There will be a handful of players who opt to enter the draft early, decide to transfer or are encouraged to transfer.

Alshon wasn't ready to play SEC football til halfway through his first year. Rice needed a redshirt. Roland wasn't ready. (Admittedly, AJ Green was)

He may be ready when he (hopefully) gets HERE - but he is a football infant right now and would be abused by SEC dbs. This ain't 4-A ball.

Yes I know that, but every year has the attrition you mention. My point was that the number of seniors is the smallest number I can ever remember.

I think Rice only redshirted because of an injury. I agree with you that it's hard to go from high school to playing in the sec but watching this kids skillset I also think he can come in and play from day one ( play not start).

Davidson is a fine overall athlete that helped his high school team win a state title by playing quarterback. At 6-feet, 170 pounds, he's a little slight of frame, but all in all Davidson is a good-looking receiver prospect that is extremely hard to corral in the open field.

WR Shaq Davidson of Gaffney has seen his number of offers rise to 12 with Auburn, Notre Dame, Tennessee and NC State his most recent ones. Auburn has been making a strong push according to Gaffney coach Dan Jones, and Oregon wants him to fly out for a visit. But everyone is chasing USC for Davidson's talents at this point. "We're pretty close," he said of the Gamecocks. "They are looking forward to having me down there. They said there's early playing time if I come down there. South Carolina is out front. It's not too big of a lead." He added that Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio State and Notre Dame are the schools trailing the Gamecocks. He has been to junior days at USC and North Carolina. Davidson said he might visit USC this Saturday along with his former basketball teammate 6-4 LJ Peak who is considering returning to Gaffney for his senior season after spending this season in Chicago. Davidson was supposed to go to Clemson's junior day but had to take the SAT that day. He says he hasn't talked much with the Tigers. Davidson has no other visits planned and is not sure on when he'll make a decision though he said he'll wait until after he sees more places.
