Looks like things are heating up for this kid. I'd expect to see a bump in the rankings for him sometime soon given the big offers that have rolled in so quickly and so recently. Only one offer on Jan. 1 and now he has 13 including UF, USC, Vandy, WVU, UT, etc.

When he got home from school Monday, Stanton Truitt (Monroe, Ga./Monroe Area) was told by his father to go check the mailbox.

"When I went to open it, it would not budge," Truitt said. "I pulled it down, and then some of the letters were hanging out, but they were all tied together by a rubber band.

I was thinking there was no way these came from the same school. But I kept pulling on them and I thought the mailbox was going to break, but when I got them out I found out that all 102 of them were from Tennessee! It was crazy."

"The Tennessee staff had been telling me that everything we do, we are always going to do it plus-two," Truitt said. "Every play you run, you want to get plus-two yards, take an extra two yards with the end zone. Everything you do, do it plus-two. That is why they sent me 102 letters."

I dont understand the point of sending that many letters at one time. Im sure 75% of the letters said the exact same thing, and Truitt probably read no more than 10 of them and threw the rest in a box.

Just another way to show the recruit how much you want them.

It isn't meant for you to read everyone of them.

The 5-feet-10, 185-pound Truitt is one of the most electrifying prospects in the Peach State. And his offer list continues to grow because of it. Truitt is extremely dangerous with the ball and can play a variety of positions on offense. Given his frame, it's easy to see him play receiver in college. If he's at receiver Saturday, he will face a strong group of defensive backs.

"You could say that they're the leaders," Truitt said. "From going on visits, every time I go it feels like home and it's not too far away from home. Not that distance is in issue but it's always good that family is close. Also, just the bond with coaches. It's different bonding with coach Jones as a head coach. Talking to a head coach a lot isn't always heard of but he definitely shows me a lot of love and he answers the phone every time I call so that's also something that stands out."

Besides Tennessee, Truitt is very interested in South Carolina, North Carolina, North Carolina State, West Virginia, Florida as those are the schools that are showing the most interest.
