i am missing something because i am not impressed.

Not sure how this isn't impressive. Most people that say this isn't impressive probably dislike the NBA or Lebron (or both) to begin with. Lebron takes off from the dotted line, catches it mid air with Jason Terry's dumbass jumping up with him, and hammers it down for 2 points and the foul.

D'Andre Jordan's play was better but this was sick as well.

This pales in comparison to the Michael Jordan story during the 87-88 season.

During a Chicago game @ Utah, Jordan posted up fellow NBA Hall Of Famer and Jazz point gurard John Stockton. After turning around and dunking on the 6'1" mis-matched Stockton, Air Jordan heard a fan dare him to 'dunk over someone his own size'.

On the very next Bulls possession, MJ dunked over 6'11" center Melvin Turpin instead. Realizing he had just been 'poster-ized', Turpin lowered his head in disgust.

Jordan then turned to the silent heckler and asked, "Was he big enough?"

I still have the VHS tape of this play...somewhere in the VHS archives...it is freakin' hilarious!!

I'm a fan of the NBA and of Lebron. But it was a 3 on 1 situation with Lebron running almost full speed down court, catching a lob pass and throwing it down on Jason Terry... It was a nice dunk, but Jason Terry was already off balance and is what 6'2"?

Terry shouldn't have jumped. If he attempted to take the charge, yeah I can see it not being that great (same with D'Andre Jordan's dunk). But he jumped to try to make a play on the ball and got merked.

James jumped from the dotted line, a 6'2" 180lb Terry launches at him trying to make a play on the ball, James barely feels Terry and posterizes him, still no Clowney hit whose win streak for best of the best just hit 38.

i dont see this as being anywhere near griffin or jordans dunks.....i mean Terry was involved in a 3v1 while the other guys dunks came in 1v1 situations

it was a nice dunk but it wouldnt make lebrons top ten

My Favorite Dunk of All-Time:

I hated the Chicago Bulls.

But I loved this dunk with all my being.

I love it when defenders try to block the dunk with everything they have and still fail miserably.

Remember that Ewing was a center and a damn good one. It's like New York's been soft ever since Pippen dunk over Ewing, rode his face to the court, stood over him and flexed, walked over to Spike Lee and told him to take that weak-ass jersey off.

John Starks also gave Horace Grant a facial in 93
