There is a slim possibility that the NCAA could go back to "merit-based" hosting for the women's sites . The sites for 2014 have not been announced yet while the NCAA reevaluates . Here is an article about Springfield, Mass which is waiting to see if their bid will be accepted for 2014 .

I think it is crap that the NCAA does this when selecting tournament sites. It completely invalidates their reasoning for supporting the NAACP boycott when they allow merit-based hosting like in baseball but don't allow selected tournament sites like in basketball.
