No different than when UNC/Duke get to play in Greensboro for two rounds. They usually try to save schools money by scheduling them closer to home.

Also, in response to your earlier post which I didn't quote, I would not have given any SEC teams at large bids besides UF and Mizzou so I disagree that UT should have gotten in over MTSU. UVA and UMD had too many bad losses which is what killed them.

Well my Wichita St pick to the Elite 8 is looking better and better...take care of the Zags and they only have to beat the winner of the ole miss/la salle game to get there. Actually I may or may not have chosen them to beat ohio state too in the cockytalk bracket. is there any way to see our picks...i forgot to write them down


Edit: I just saw if you click on a name in the pool it shows the bracket....only thing that sucks is i fogot I had New Mexico as an upset over ohio state in that bracket...crap

i probably would have picked wichita state if i remembered marshall was coaching there. that elite 8 pick might pay off, personally im counting on gonzaga to make the final four in my pool. everyone else has them getting knocked off.

lasalle gutted that game out, they got kinda lucky that kansas st didnt keep them off the free throw line because their offense looked horrible and the shots werent even close to dropping. props to their big guy jerrell wright, guy is a 60% shooter from the line and hit his first 9 before missing the last one. i wouldnt expect them to have anything left against ole miss though.
