Smoked Herring. Smells awful, but actually taste pretty good. Barbecued raccoon is really good if cooked right.

Goat isnt all that uncommon, but where and how I had it was. It was spit roasted in the Saudi Arabian desert by wandering Bedouin nomads. That was awesome.

I have had a lot of neat stuff in my life, having traveled all over the world- duck in China, Turkish Delights (a wierd candy) in Turkey, Squid in its own ink (Italy), Goat, eel, raw tuna and salmon, different types of roe, deer, gator, I am sure I am missing other things.

Kangaroo, emu, gator are ones I can remember. There's a place here in Wilmington, tapas restaurant (tapas, not topless) that changes the menu once every quarter and always has 1 exotic meat.

I had raccoon once too. It was in a stew like beef stew, except with raccoon meat. Kinda tough, but not horrible.
