Those mock drafts by Mel and McShay are the most ridiculous things i've seen on ESPN in a long time. I just laugh at McShay every time he comes on TV. He's so sure about everything he says (knowing that it is subject to change at any given moment) More times then none they are wrong. Anyone in the world could do that job. It's so opinionated.

This was my favorite play by Jarvis Jones this past season. He's gonna make a lot of money in the NFL making plays like this.

Just to put things in perspective, Mel kiper had jimmy Clausen as a first round quarterback.

An OLB running a 4.9 sure as hell limits when he can be on the field. Can't use him in pass coverage if that slow. An ILB may be could get away with it but OLB needs to cover in space. I have thought Jones was overrated, never seemed to make a big play in the big games when it was needed.

I'm certainly no UGA fan but Jones' stats speak for themselves. He was top five in the country in sacks and tfl and played like 10 games. As a linebacker, that's pretty impressive. I know college stats aren't everything when it comes to NFL evaluations but he should go pretty early in the draft.

Helps when your coaches have you primarily blitzing, on a defense with many potential NFL draftees and huge D tackles... Like poster above said, he rarely showed up in big games and wasn't even the best LB on the team

In the games I saw him play he pretty much lined up on the weak side and rushed the passer. Teams that ran right at him ran over him and he wasn't much in pass coverage. But uga did scheme a lot with him and he made a lot of big plays off of it. I think he goes late in the first round just off of reputation.

We had the All Star Bowl over at NGU this weekend, and we had a Linebacker run a 4.38, 4 months after separating his ankle. Im not impressed by mr. Jones.

This is simply not true. You could make a case that he almost single-handedly won the mizzou and florida games last year. While I do think he is somewhat overhyped....the dude can play.

yeah, he was top 5. Number 1 in the nation to be exact.
