have better talent across the board and we have better coaches. This
is one of those games where post 2000 I would be scared to death of
playing. However, we are now an SEC caliber football team, and we have
risen in the past 4-5 years to be one on the top 4-5 teams in this conference.
We will beat UCF Saturday simply because we are the better team. We're
the better program and if we have any hopes of being an Eastern Conf.
Champion, and hopefully more beyond that, this is a game we can not lose.
The media is talking up UCF as if they were an up and coming Miami
program of the early 80s, or "The New Louisville" .... At the same time
they are talking USC Down because we lost to UGA, and we have had
some rough spots in our other two games this year even with the good
numbers we have put up..... THEY (the media) Want this game to be
a potential upset. They want the story that will go along with the
"Goliath that got it's ass kicked against David" ..... Ain't Gonna Happen !
They are building up UCF basically because they beat a potential 6 win
Penn State team in their house, and pushed around Akron and Florida
International. There is not a good defense there if you combined the
best players from all three of those schools, and yet because they won
all three of those games, they are ready to take down one of the 4-5
best teams in the SEC ?!?!?!?
We'll win this game, we'll win it fairly easily and we'll shut up a lot of
people this weekend. .... We are getting ready to right the ship, and
get a lot of frustration off our chest.
Based on what I have seen, it better have been an inspiring half time talk
