You do realize that this streak isn't going to last forever, though, right? Sure right now we have the better coaches and we're winning because we're just a smarter, more disciplined football team.

But that doesn't guarantee that they will never beat us again. I'm not sugar coating anything. Clemson will beat us eventually. Maybe Morris/Venables need to get a little smarter in their prep but time helps. Morris has only been a college coach since 2010.
I know what you are getting at and I agree, but losing Morris would be the biggest blow possible for Clemptech. He has very good recruiting ties and recruits want to play specifically in HIS system. But i definitely do realize they'd go out and get a solid OC. Either that or maybe they'd pull a Dabo and promote from within...

You've officially entered the pre-off-season stage. Not quite the off-season, seeing as their is one more game, but a dead part between the end of the regular season, and the bowl game which finalizes the season.

This.
But looking deeper, not sure their lack of big games during the season impacted the turnovers/concentration. And I think this goes back to the kind of schedule and stadiums they play in.
I'm also not convinced they'd have beaten us minus the turnovers.

Everyone acts like turnovers are random acts of unjust doing. Turnovers come from mistakes, mental or physical. So yes, they possibly could have won had they not made any mental or physical mistakes. But those mistakes were made.

I mean, honestly, you can say this about almost every game there ever was. Unless the game is an absolute blowout most of the time a few turnovers are what keeps games from being a lot closer than the score indicates or a new winner.

Just look at the games we've lost in the past 4 years:

2010 vs. Florida State: FSU won by 9. We had 5 turnovers (compared to FSU's 1)
2010 vs. Auburn (SECCG) we got blown out.
2010 vs. Arkansas: Arkansas won by 21, convienetly we had 3 turnovers and a Turnover on Downs, compared to Arkansas's 2 and 1 of those was seconds before half time. So basically 4 turnovers to 1.
2010 vs. Kentucky, lost by 3 4 turnovers to 0.
2010 vs Auburn lost by 8, 4 turnovers to 2.
2011 vs Arkansas lost by 16, 4 turnovers to 1
2011 vs Auburn lost by 3 4 turnovers to 4.
2012 vs. Florida lost by 33, 4 turnovers to 0.
2012 vs. LSU lost by 2, 2 turnovers to 1.
2013 vs Tennessee lost by 2, 2 turnovers to 0.
2013 vs. Georgia lost by 11, 1 turnover to 0

There's no such thing as moral victories, especially when you're in a power conference. You ask Clemson about it, they're not happy that they know they could've won had they not had 6 turnovers. They're mad that they made the mistakes. We're not happy that we lost pretty much all of those (not all of them but most of them) games listed above due to turnovers, because we know we should've won. We're pissed we lost due to these errors.

oh my god, that was painful to read. Thanks for throwing that together. Shame. Hope a coach takes note of a stat like this and makes the team fully aware over the summer. We gotta reduce fumbles and we gotta get a few more TO's go our way somehow. The turnovers the past few season have separated us from the BCS bowls, and maybe more

Painful but brutally honest.

Compare those to (National Champions + SEC winner if different):

2012: Bama (T-10)
2011: LSU (2nd) ; Bama (T-20)
2010: Auburn (T-31)
2009: Bama (T-4)
2008: Florida (2)
2007: LSU (1)
2006: Florida (T-34)
2005: Texas (27th) ; Georgia (6th)

Also, props to Sands. The RB's are not fumbling the ball at hardly at all. Also, if Connor has only thrown one int this year, where did the other ten come from? I know DT had a few, maybe Noso had some, Hails too? I don't remember 11 though

Wowzers...that's a mistype by me! another N/A obviously. I don't know why I put T-44 there...haha
Also had 4/11 backwards for 2013 turnovers (loss) for the INT/Fumbles.

I really don't know what you mean by this.

If you mean do I think I am always right - then yes, obviously. I think I am always right. But I am willing to accept other peoples views/opinions given they have good reasoning for me too. I don't think anything is wrong with that. The problem comes when people are not willing to accept other peoples views.

If you mean that I always have to be right - then...meh. I can see how you, and/or others can think that. I even think that myself sometimes. But I think when you see me trying to "always be right" I see myself as just defending my point of view/opinion because there is no other reasoning out there to stop defending it.

Sorry guys, Carolina4Life here wants to talk about Spurrier going to Texas. Please by all means give us all the details that you can bring to that discussion.

Just because a thread changes topic doesn't mean it was high jacked. If you think I intended to take this thread from Spurrier to Texas, to turnover margin you're flat out crazy. Post lead to different topics. If you're not use to that by now then maybe message boards aren't the thing for you.

Oh and by all means if you have problems with my post simply ignore me. It's an easy to use, and free, feature available on this website.

Actually, Carolina4Life doesn't want to talk about Spurrier going to Texas because he knows it's not going to happen. I believe the only thing that I have posted in this thread is that Dabo would fit Texas because they are looking for a CEO type coach.

All I did was compare you to the debater that is Skip Bayless.

& trust me, if I knew how to block you...I would.

What's technically wrong with being a debater? What are message boards for? Person A say something, then Person B ignore it and say something else? No, they're meant for debates and to help mold opinions of others as a group. There meant to have questions answered and get everyone's views on (what we as a group think is important) important topics at hand.

Sure, my opinions are out there some times and I certainly enjoy to play "devils advocate" (because if I didn't, who would). And like I said in a reply to "ClowneyGotcha", I will defend my POV until there is no reason too. If you attack my POV and say I'm wrong without any logical reasoning, I will defend my POV. So yes, this leads to taking threads completely off the tracks. BUT...to get a thread back on track all someone has to do is make a post (worth replying too) about the suggested topic!

However, if you still want to ignore me - go ahead. I'll even show you how to do it with a step-by-step process. Just realize that once you block me you wont see a single post made by me, even if I start a topic. I understand you dislike some of my post, but obviously not all of them (because I'm not debating in 75-80% of them). But if it's what you want to do -here you go:

1. Click "User CP" in the upper left hand corner.
2. On the left there is a section labeled "User Control Panel"
3. Under that are multiple tabs, one labeled "Settings & Options"
4. The last option under that tab is "Edit Ignore List"
5. Simply add "CarolinaGnB521"
6. You've successfully ignored me.
