^^Not this^^

I would prefer Ray to hire someone with head coaching experience. We should not have to settle for a coordinator. We tried that once, remember?

Another interesting quote from SOS:

HBC on Gators hiring Duke OC: "They hired one about 23 years ago, a Duke offensive coordinator. They know where to go for a football coach."

Cool, I hope he gets that job. He can make his own name in the coaching world and I'm sure Spurrier will get another great WR/Recruiting Coach.

Jr. gets in there for a year or two and boom Cutcliff to a major U and Jr. in as HBC Jr. at Duke and as alum. Dang the stars would be alighned lol
Yes that's what I was trying to get at with my post!

Yeah I agree. I'd rather us hire a top tier head coach, or a guy that was an excellent OC/DC that went on to coach a smaller school (as a stepping stone). If Spurrier Jr. fits the bill that's fine. But if he goes to Duke and is a great OC there...I still would rather have a coach with HC experience.
