Doubt it's a gift. Agents don't give 90k sports cars to mid round college kids who have yet to be drafted.

Unless Vic makes a big move up the draft board he'll be making rookie minimum and that car would represent more than 20% of 1 years pay before taxes. So yes it would be a dumb purchase.

Maybe his new agent rented it for him for the night but no way he gave Vic a car. The car is worth more than the commission the agent will see from Vic's rookie deal.

My best bet would be that Relativity Sports met with Vic Hampton to sign the papers. The car was probably provided (rented) by the agency for the young man who works with the agency to go and meet Vic.
