All of you are wrong. This honor should have gone to Dylan Thompson. The one play he got in the game for where he took a knee right before the half was a true momentum changer. You could tell at that point the guys were going to rally around that effort and come out firing in the second half.

Plus, Shaw was Cack's TOTG for an unprecedented 3.5 times this year!

Bruce hadn't won this prestigious award once this year.
Really? I didn't even notice that. But I thought people said I hated Shaw and wouldn't ever give him the credit he deserved? Hhhmmm

Thinking about it, 3.5 toasts is probably a record. Maybe Lattimore in 2010 ...?

My biggest beef with Shaw was that he wouldn't and hadn't done that until those last three games. I also think that SC Tag makes a good point about the defense and Clowney...when it counted those guys rose to the occasion and played defense like we have been spoiled by seeing the past 4 or 5 years...(ever since Ellis Johnson arrived and through his time to the present...(a tip of the hat here to Coach Ward for keeping it going and getting us through this transition year)).

Mr Lewis and Mr Hampton might be deserving of Honorable Mentions as well.

That was always the one thing keeping me off of the Shaw Bandwagon. I didn't feel like he ever took chances. He definitely made a beliver out of me this year. When he wants to make a throw ... he can and does. We will definitely miss him.

Hey I thought for the most of the game that Bruce was the MVP. Shaw threw well enough for Bruce to make some great catches. It was really a team effort. Good receivers make the Quarterback look good, by catching imperfect passes which is what both Bruce and Shack were able to do. Great Team win. The future is bright.

Happy New Year Yancey!

Both of those are certainly worthy nominees...

Does 'frosh' include sophomores? If so then Shaq and Mike D would be in that discussion...If it is only freshmen and redshirt freshmen then it would be one of those two.
