I may be completely wrong, but I think the only thing you can definitively saw about his recruitment is that he will not be attending Carolina.

That's his point. He will get a mid round grade and leave. If he plays to his potential and becomes consistent, he would get a higher round grade and still leave.

He very well may, but this kid is doing everything in his power not to commit to Carolina. For him to be such a long time strong lean to SC, he sure is trying to find another program for himself. Now he is setting up visits to schools that haven't had much to do with him until now. If he really wanted to be a Gamecock, he would have committed by now.

Not true. Clowney was basically committed to use since New Years Day and waited until Feb to actually verbally commit. I think this kid is just taking it all in, because you only get recruited once in your life.

On another point about Va.....there is a ton of talent here but USC has never spent much time trying to recruit here....but Deke is changing that. We are in the running for 2-3 really good players in Richmond.

Todd Ellis was the #1 recruit in the country when he came out. He was USA Today's player of the year. George Rogers was considered the top RB in the country the year he came out (don't think there were recruiting rankings in 1977 when George came out). We have gotten some big talent out of state.

he reminds me of nuke Richardson a few years ago. we were the "leader" for months and months but he wouldn't commit. ends up committing to Florida and then signed with Tennessee on NSD. sure doesn't seem like he thinks he wants to be here for whatever reason. there's nothing left for him to see at this point with us and still won't commit. hope I'm wrong

Good point on Ellis. I don't recall George being that highly touted coming out of high school.
